The story of Jewish history can be understood in three distinct parts:

Part 1: Ancient History

The First part is jewishwikipedia.info covering 4000 years of Jewish history. This section explores the ancient origins of the Jewish people, from biblical times through the centuries of diaspora and return.

Part 2: The British Mandate Period

The SECOND PART saw World War One and the end of the Ottoman Empire. Britain accepted the League of Nations Mandate for the coastal area to the south of Syria, to be known as Palestine. Britain gave 80% of their territory to a new Arab country that became known as Transjordan (later called Jordan).

This period came to an end shortly after World War 2, and the new state of Israel was created in 1948.

Part 3: Modern Conflicts

The Third part, beginning in 2023 and started by Hamas in Gaza, became the Israel-Gaza War. Throughout this long history, the two biggest groups in the region we're the Arabs and the Jews.
